Vitrifaction (n.)

The act, art, or process of vitrifying; also, the state of being vitrified.

Vitrifacture (n.)

The manufacture of glass and glassware.

Capable of being vitrified, or converted into glass by heat and fusion; as, flint and alkalies are vitrifiable.
